Apartment 208 at Dolce Beach Residence, for friends who rise with the sun
Some trips are built around the morning swim. Apartment 208 is one floor up from the beach at Dolce Beach Residence, whose beachfront footprint lies directly on Simpson Bay’s sand, low enough that the sea is practically at eye level. At dawn the bay is flat and glassy, and the first people in the water are usually the ones staying just above it.
Shared holiday, separate rooms
Two couples travelling together need two proper bedrooms, and that is what you get: each has a king-size bed, while two bathrooms and a spare WC for visitors mean nobody waits in the hallway with a towel. The living space is where everyone meets again, and the fully equipped kitchen makes it simple to take turns cooking a big breakfast or a late supper.
Early hours on the balcony
The balcony faces the sea from just above the sand. Around six it is cool and quiet, perfect for a first coffee while the fishing boats slide out and the light turns from grey to gold. By mid-morning it becomes the spot to plan the day together.
Downstairs, the residence
A few steps take you to the shared pool, set on the beach itself, and a few more to the Caribbean. Anyone keen on a workout before breakfast will find the shared gym, half under a roof and half open to the sea breeze. Staff at the lobby handle your welcome and stay on hand all week.
Ask the concierge
A taxi from the airport when you land, a car for touring the island, a morning of snorkelling or a boat trip to a quiet cove, a booking for dinner: the concierge team sets it up for your group.
Simpson Bay on foot
Within a short walk you will find marinas, beach bars, supermarkets and a long list of places to eat. Reaching the airport is a drive of ten minutes or so, Maho Beach is next door, and Mullet Bay and Cupecoy are worth an afternoon. Keep one day for Marigot or Philipsburg.
