305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
Midday in Simpson Bay is bright and warm, and apartment 303 is where you retreat to enjoy it slowly. Three floors above the beach, inside the beachfront landmark called Dolce Beach Residence whose ground floor opens straight onto Simpson Bay’s sand, this one-bedroom is just high enough to catch the breeze and still close to the sound of the waves.
By early afternoon the balcony is the natural place to be: a book, a cold drink, the sea glittering below and the occasional sailboat crossing the bay. From the third level the view is open without feeling distant.
When it is time for a siesta, the bedroom is a separate room with a king-size bed, quiet enough for a real nap. Lunch can be as simple or as elaborate as you like, since the kitchen is fully equipped and has an oven. A bathroom and a guest toilet round things off, for a total of two guests.
When the sun softens, head down to the shared pool, stretched out on the beach, or walk a few metres further into the sea. Guests who prefer to stay active can use the shared gym, with its indoor room and an open-air section. The lobby team is on hand for anything you need at Dolce Beach Residence.
Send the concierge a message and a taxi will meet you at the airport; the same desk arranges hire cars, boat days and snorkelling outings, and books dinner tables for the evening.
Once the heat drops, the neighbourhood comes alive. You can walk to the marinas, the supermarkets, plenty of restaurants and the beach bars. Reaching the airport takes about ten minutes in the car, and Maho Beach, Mullet Bay and Cupecoy are all close. Philipsburg and Marigot are easy day trips when you feel like moving a little more.
The apartment is yours from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day you leave. Sheets, towels and Wi-Fi are taken care of.
