305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
There is always something moving in front of apartment 404. Four floors up, this one-bedroom looks out from Dolce Beach Residence, a beachfront tower whose base sits in Simpson Bay’s sand, and from its balcony you follow the whole life of the bay: sailboats, water taxis, swimmers and, now and then, a plane gliding in towards the airport.
The fourth level is a good compromise. The beach is still close and lively, yet the balcony looks out far enough to take in the width of the bay and the horizon beyond. Curious travellers tend to keep binoculars on the table.
Two guests share a separate bedroom with a king-size bed. The living area is pleasant for relaxing after a day out, and the fully equipped kitchen, with its oven, lets you cook whenever you like. There is a bathroom and, for visitors, a separate toilet.
Maho Beach, where aircraft pass just above the sand on their final approach, is a short drive from the residence. Go once for the spectacle, then return to Simpson Bay for a calmer swim.
Dolce Beach Residence has a shared pool right on the beach and a shared gym split into a cooled indoor studio and an open-air workout zone. When you arrive, the lobby team greets you and remains your point of contact for the rest of the week.
Taxi transfer from the airport, a hire car, snorkelling or a boat trip, reservations for dinner: the concierge sorts it out.
Marinas, beach bars, restaurants and supermarkets are all reachable on foot. Princess Juliana Airport is around ten minutes by car, and Mullet Bay and Cupecoy lie just past Maho. Philipsburg and Marigot, the island’s two main towns, are easy for a day out.
Arrive from 4 pm, leave by 11 am. On arrival, beds are made up, towels are folded and the Wi-Fi code is waiting.
