305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
Everyone talks about the days in Simpson Bay; fewer people mention the nights. Up in apartment 406, four storeys above the sand at Dolce Beach Residence, the beachfront building that stands right on Simpson Bay, evenings steal the show: warm air, the lapping of the sea and a sky full of stars once the lights along the shore dim.
Four levels up, the noise of the beach fades while the view keeps growing. Moonlight on the water, the silhouettes of anchored boats, a last glass before bed. On calm nights you can hear the waves from the bedroom.
The one-bedroom welcomes two guests. The bedroom is set apart from the living area, with a king-size bed for long, restful nights. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an oven, handy for a late supper after a sunset outing. You will also find a bathroom and a separate guest toilet.
Days here can be as lazy as the nights are long. The shared pool is on the beach, a few steps from the sea, and the shared gym offers both an indoor room and an outdoor zone for a morning session. Whatever comes up, from your first check-in onward, the lobby team handles it.
For a dinner reservation somewhere by the water, an evening boat trip, a rental car, a snorkelling morning or an airport taxi, the concierge will handle the details.
After sunset the waterfront fills with diners, and beach bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as are marinas and supermarkets for the daytime. It is roughly a ten-minute car ride from the airport. For daytime swims, Maho Beach lies close by, while the calmer coves of Mullet Bay and Cupecoy wait a few minutes beyond. Marigot and Philipsburg each make a fine day out.
Check-in opens at 4 pm and check-out closes at 11 am. When you step inside, fresh sheets, towels and a Wi-Fi connection are already sorted.
