305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
For a first visit to Saint Martin, where you stay shapes the whole trip. Apartment 506 puts you in a beachfront building on Simpson Bay’s sand in Sint Maarten, a central spot from which every corner of the island is within a short drive. Look for it on level five of Dolce Beach Residence.
Start by asking the concierge for a rental car; they can have it ready when you land, along with a taxi from the airport if you prefer. From there, Philipsburg and its boardwalk make one day, Marigot and its market on the French side another. On the way back, stop at Mullet Bay or Cupecoy for an afternoon swim. The concierge can also book a boat or snorkelling trip, or a dinner table for the evening.
After a day on the road, the apartment feels like a reward. Behind its own door, the king-size bed waits in a proper bedroom. The living area opens onto the balcony, and the fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, lets you cook up whatever you found at the market. A bathroom plus a second toilet for visitors means nobody queues.
From the balcony you get the full sweep of Simpson Bay: sailing boats at anchor, the lights coming on around the lagoon, the last swimmers leaving the sand. A good place to go over the day and plan tomorrow.
Some days are for staying put. The shared pool lies on the sand, and past its edge the sea begins. The shared gym gives you a choice between working out inside or out in the breeze, and the welcome team at the lobby is there when you want advice on where to go.
You can walk to dinner, to the marinas, to a beach bar or to the supermarket, Maho Beach is just along the road, and the airport lies about ten minutes away by car.
You can check in from 4 pm and you return the keys before 11 am on your final morning. We look after sheets, bath towels and Wi-Fi.
