Evenings at 601, high above Simpson Bay
Apartment 601 is the kind of place where the whole family ends up on the balcony at the end of the day. Sitting six floors up, in a beachfront property called Dolce Beach Residence with Simpson Bay’s sand at its feet, it is high enough for the horizon to feel endless and still only minutes from your first swim.
Golden hour, every day
When the heat eases, the sea-view balcony becomes the living room. Someone brings out the glasses, someone else a bowl of fruit, and everyone watches the bay slowly change colour as the boats return to the lagoon. From up here the whole curve of the shore is in view.
Built for gathering
Four guests divide two private bedrooms between them, a king-size bed in each, along with two bathrooms and an additional WC for visitors. It suits grown-up children taking their parents away, or grandparents with two grandchildren. The fully equipped kitchen is made for family dinners at home: fish from the market, rice, a salad, and a long table conversation afterwards.
Days at the residence
Before the evening ritual comes the beach. Directly beneath the apartment, the shared pool rests on the sand, a calm option for anyone who prefers to swim without waves. The shared gym mixes an indoor room with an outside workout area, and the lobby team is available whenever you need a hand.
Help with plans
Just ask, and the concierge can arrange a taxi for your airport arrival, a rental car, a day on a boat with snorkelling stops or dinner reservations for the evenings you would rather go out.
The area
Simpson Bay has marinas, beach bars, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The airport? Ten minutes at the wheel, give or take, and Maho Beach only a little further. For a quieter swim, head to Mullet Bay or Cupecoy, while Marigot or Philipsburg make a pleasant day out for the whole family.
Arrival and departure
Doors are yours at 4 pm on arrival day, and we need the rooms back by 11 am when you leave. Fresh sheets, bath towels and your Wi-Fi code will be ready.
