305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
Something is always on the move below apartment 602. Six floors up in Dolce Beach Residence, a beachfront address with its feet in the Simpson Bay sand, it looks over a bay full of sailing boats, paddleboarders and, a little further west, the planes lining up for the runway at Princess Juliana.
At noon the light is bright and the colours are at their most vivid. From the balcony you can follow a catamaran leaving the lagoon, a yacht dropping anchor, a jet banking over the water. Bring binoculars or a good camera; guests who love photography rarely leave this spot.
It is laid out for two: a closed bedroom around a king-size bed, a living room that opens onto the view, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven for the evenings you prefer to eat in. One bathroom, and a guest toilet close to the living area.
If watching planes from the sixth floor is not enough, Maho Beach is a short drive away, where aircraft pass just overhead. Mullet Bay and Cupecoy are nearby too, for a swim away from the crowds.
Sooner or later the water calls. Down on the sand the shared pool waits, and the sea begins just past it. For exercise, the shared gym offers a room under a roof and a corner in the fresh air, and the lobby team handles your welcome and questions throughout the stay.
From a taxi at the arrivals hall to a rental car, a sail on a catamaran or a snorkelling trip, and even a reservation for dinner, the concierge will set it up for you.
Food shops, marinas, places to eat and bars on the sand are all a short walk from the building, and the airport lies roughly ten minutes away by car. For a change of scene, Philipsburg and Marigot are each an easy outing.
We welcome you from 4 pm; the latest departure is 11 am. Your stay includes linen, towels and Wi-Fi.
