305 – Beachfront Studio with Sea-View Balcony in Simpson Bay
A beachfront studio for two, right on Simpson Bay beach
Description
Apartment 608 suits couples who spend their holidays wet: diving, snorkelling, sailing, paddling. Home is level six of Dolce Beach Residence, whose beachfront position gives direct access to the sand of Simpson Bay, one of the island’s busiest spots for anyone who loves the sea.
Simpson Bay is lined with marinas, and boats leave every morning for reefs, wrecks and quiet coves. The concierge can book your dive or snorkelling trip, a day under sail, or a car so you can drive your fins over to Mullet Bay and Cupecoy. They also handle airport pick-ups and dinner bookings.
Around five, the boats start to come home. From the sixth floor you see them cross the bay one after the other, sails down, heading for the lagoon. Rinse off, sit outside, and watch the day’s traffic wind down as the light turns golden.
The apartment gives two people plenty of space. Sleep comes easily in the separate, quiet bedroom and its king-size bed. Thanks to a full kitchen with an oven, a hearty dinner after a day at sea is easy. The bathroom is joined by a separate guest toilet.
On days off the boat, the shared pool is right there on the sand, the sea a stone’s throw beyond. The shared gym, with a covered part and an open-air part by the water, is handy for keeping shoulders and legs in shape. In the lobby, the team greets you and helps with whatever comes up.
Beach bars, marinas, restaurants and supermarkets are all just a walk away. The airport is roughly ten minutes by car, Maho Beach is close, and Philipsburg and Marigot are there for a day on dry land.
Check in after 4 pm, check out before 11 am. We supply the linen, towels and Wi-Fi.
